The lustrous iridescence effect is created with the application of the Mother of Pearl lustre. Applied to your piece as an overglaze, the item is fired for the 3rd time giving your piece a pearly, opalescent sheen that changes within the light. The glaze is completely good safe, however due to it's metallic components, we advise against putting your bowl in the dishwasher or microwave.
